Christine Lee is a reporter based in Irving and Grand Prairie. She joined the NBC 5 team in November 2011.
The Emmy-nominated storyteller comes from KPNX-TV, the NBC-affiliate in Phoenix, AZ. She has also reported in Flagstaff, AZ and Fort Myers, FL.
Christine was born and raised in Los Angeles. She was first introduced to broadcast journalism at Beverly Hills High School, and she’s been pursuing her passion ever since. She graduated from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television with a concentration in Documentary.
The Korean-American journalist’s most memorable assignments include covering the 2010 Winter Olympics from Vancouver and sharing stories about North Korean refugees living in America.
Christine is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association.
