Lindsay Wilcox is a NBC 5 Anchor/Reporter.
Lindsay Wilcox anchors the weekend morning shows on NBC 5, Saturday at 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and Sunday at 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. She joined the newsteam in August of 2007 and can also be seen reporting during the week.
Before coming to KXAS, Lindsay was a general assignment reporter for KLTV 7 News in Tyler, Texas. She also worked as a product specialist for an American car company where she gained extensive public speaking experience.

As a Dallas native, she is thrilled to be working in her hometown. She graduated from Irving High School, in Irving, Texas, where most of her family still lives. Lindsay graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Texas with a bachelor's degree in broadcast news. The school honored her with the Rising Star Alumni Award in 2006. She also has a degree in Interior Design.
Lindsay is recognized by the Texas Association of Press Broadcasters (TAPB) for spot and series reporting, and has been nominated for three Emmy's for live reporting.
In addition to her professional career, Lindsay is a member of the Lone Star Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Lindsay spends most of her free time with her growing family. She and her husband have two young children and attend Gateway Church in Southlake.
