It all started with Dunaway taking a swipe at Duff when the legendary actress found out the starlet was going to reprise the role of "Bonnie Parker" in a remake of the 1967 movie "Bonnie & Clyde."
The Chicago Sun-Times reported that of the casting news Dunaway said: "Couldn't they at least cast a real actress?"
Duff fought back on E's Daily 10 saying: "I think that my fans that are going to see this movie don't even know who she is, so you know… I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now, too."
Production on "The Story of Bonnie & Clyde" starts in April.
What the El!?! Editorial:
This is battle of the horse faces. (insert horse noise here) Yes, I said it.
That Hilary is feisty! That's an awesome comeback, albeit a little childish.
Dunaway probably wants to beat her with a wire hanger now.
