Dr. Dog - With a new album due out next month, expect to hear plenty of new material from Dr. Dog, the band made famous by lo-fi singles produced in a Philadelphia basement. So what you see at this year's SXSW may not be the same melodic rock that opened for the likes of Wilco and the Raconteurs in years past. Friday, 5:15 pm, Cedar St. Courtyard. - Lauren Zinn
