Police say gunfire in a suburban Fort Worth neighborhood has left three men dead and a fourth wounded.
Haltom City police Sgt. Eric Peters says police are investigating whether one of the four people shot early Wednesday was the gunman and what led to the attacks.
Peters told The Associated Press that a pistol was recovered at the street scene, where two men were found dead around 1 a.m. Wednesday. A third man was transported to a hospital, where he died.
Peters says the fourth man drove himself to the hospital, had surgery and was in intensive care. No further details on his condition were immediately released.
Peters says police are attempting to identify the four men and whether one lived at a nearby residence. Police checked the house and found nobody home.
