Dallas Love Field is preparing for roadway construction scheduled to begin next month.
Crews will work on the airport's roads at night and traffic is currently being rerouted as part of the preparations.
The upper west pedestrian bridge connecting Parking Garage A and Terminal 2 will permanently close Monday before it's demolished.
The east pedestrian bridge or ground crosswalk is available for Love Field travelers who use Parking Garages A and B.
Opened as an Army flying field in 1917, Love Field was Dallas' primary airport until Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport came on the scene in 1974.
It's fair to say Love Field's interior is a bit dated and could use some more love, too.
