The Richland Hills Police Department says four rounds were fired at a home and car on the 3100 block of Ash Park Sunday evening.

Though the house was occupied at the time of the shooting, no one was injured.

Police said the shooting took place at about 10:30 p.m. and that investigators were able to determine that three of the four rounds fired hit the home.  The fourth round, police said, struck an unoccupied car in front of the house.

Investigators in Richland Hills have identified a person of interest in the shooting and said all evidence suggests it was an isolated incident and not gang-related.

The investigation into the incident continues and police are encouraging anyone with any information to contact Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS or the Richland Hills Police Department at 817-616-3780.
