Fighting Hunger

The new hub will send out fresh produce to families in need, and local leaders hope it will make an impact on the overall health of our community.

A grand opening and ribbon cutting will be held Feb. 28 at the Tarrant Area Food Bank’s AgHub, a facility that collects produce from donated farmers and distributes the food to communities in need.

Between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, the Tarrant Area Food Bank expects to serve about 20,000 people.
