1 Stabbed in the Hand During Argument in South Dallas, Police Say

One person was stabbed in the hand during an argument early Thursday morning in South Dallas, police said. Officers responded to the 1700 block of Driskell Street, between Interstate 45 and U.S. Highway 175, about 5:30 a.m. The victim told them that when he and the suspect were arguing, he went to gather his things to leave, which escalated the fight, Dallas police spokeswoman Diana Flores said. The suspect attacked the victim, stabbing him in the left hand, Flores said. The suspect fled before officers arrived. Dallas Fire-Rescue treated the victim at the scene.  Continue reading...
