The Texas Rangers are going with seven relief pitchers for the AL Division Series and a roster that has several changes from last year's series against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Texas released its 25-man roster on Thursday hours before Game 1, including 13 players who weren't on the roster last postseason.

Reliever Jeremy Jeffress — reinstated to the team in September after an Aug. 26 arrest for DWI — was included on the roster.

Left-handed starter Derek Holland and outfielder Delino DeShields were the notable players from this season's 40-man roster left off the playoff roster.

    The full ALDS roster includes:

    Pitchers
Tony Barnette, Matt Bush, Alex Claudio, Yu Darvish, Jake Diekman, Sam Dyson, Cole Hamels, Jeremy Jeffress, Keone Kela, Colby Lewis, Martin Perez

    Catchers
    Robinson Chirinos, Jonathan Lucroy

    Infielders
Elvis Andrus, Adrian Beltre, Mitch Moreland, Rougned Odor, Jurickson Profar

    Outfielders
Carlos Beltran, Shin-Soo Choo, Ian Desmond, Carlos Gomez, Jared Hoying,
    Nomar Mazara, Ryan Rua

The Rangers and Blue Jays play Game 1 of the 2016 ALDS on Thursday afternoon at 3:38 p.m. at Globe Life Park in Arlington.
