Police are investigating an assault in AT&T Stadium Lot 4 that left one man severely injured, suspect unknown.

Fans are ready to cheer on their team for Friday’s Cotton Bowl game with many altering their travel plans to make sure they can make it to the big event safely in dangerous road conditions.

Arlington police made it known they’ve had no threats against the entertainment district or the Cotton Bowl game, but in light of recent terror attacks, .they’ll use all safety tools available to them for the game at AT&T Stadium Jan. 10.

With the Cotton Bowl just a week away, Arlington police report no known threats but are reviewing security plans for the event, which could draw up to 80,000 fans to AT&T Stadium.

The Cotton Bowl remains on schedule at AT&T Stadium. Arlington Police say they know of no threats to the game at this time.

Ohio State will face Texas in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 10 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
