Two lanes of northbound Interstate 35W were closed just south of the Trinity River in Fort Worth while crews made emergency repairs Tuesday.
The pavement damage was related to construction work on an old drainage system, according to a project spokesperson.
The repairs were expected to be completed by midnight, the spokesperson told NBC 5.
