Driver Safe After Train Hits Stalled 18-Wheeler in Denton County

Video shows the moment a train crashes into a stalled out 18-wheeler stuck on railroad tracks. The driver is safe, Denton County Sheriff's Office says.

A driver whose 18-wheeler was stalled on railroad tracks in Sanger is safe after a train crashed into the big-rig, Denton County Sheriff's Office says.

The train was unable to stop in time and the driver got out of the cab before the collision.

It happened about 9:30 a.m. near Cowling Road.

No injuries were reported and the train didn't derail.

A driver whose 18-wheeler was stalled on railroad tracks in Sanger is safe after a train crashed into the vehicle, Denton County Sheriff's Office said.

Contents from the truck were strewn about, the cab on one side of the tracks and the trailer on another. It is not clear what the truck driver was carrying.
