Texas Equusearch Continues Search for Missing Woman

Texas Equusearch continues day two of searching for a missing 23-year-old Fort Worth woman.

Christina Morris went missing nearly two weeks ago while walking to her car at The Shops at Legacy in Plano.

The search team picked up in a field off the Dallas North Tollway, searching on horseback and ATV’s.

Founder and Director of Texas Equusearch, Tim Miller, said he wants to use drones too. The Federal Aviation Administration has banned him from putting his drone in the air.

Miller tells NBC 5 that he is working with the FAA to get permission and hopes to have the drones in the air this week.

Christina Morris' mother, Jonni McElroy said she is feeling good about today.

“It feels different. For the first time, I'm really calm. I'm really calm. It's not because I'm tired because I got a great rest last night - just very peaceful. Very at peace today,” McElroy said.

McElroy and other family members are asked not to help search in the fields. They are staying at command post in Plano.

Texas Equusearch said people who want to volunteer and help with the search can go to the Legacy Church at 4501 Legacy Drive in Plano to register.
