Pedestrian Killed Trying to Cross I-20

 

Police were called to the scene at about 12:30 a.m. where a driver told officers she had entered the eastbound lanes of I-20 at Matlock when she was unable to avoid hitting the person.

 

The pedestrian, whose name has not yet been released, was then struck by a second car.

 

Investigators said there is no indication that either of the drivers were impaired by alcohol or drugs.

 

This is the 22nd traffic fatality in Arlington this year.
