An international conglomerate with operations in more than two dozen countries located a new division headquarters in Plano.MIC Global Services will have a workforce of about 200 people in its new office in Legacy business park.The division of New York-based Macquarie Infrastructure Corp. is leasing 31,000 square feet in the Lincoln R&D complex at 5201 Tennyson Parkway, west of Preston Road. The building is owned by Lincoln Property Co.MIC Global Services provides airport operations and other services in multiple markets.One of its companies, Atlantic Aviation, provides airport services in more than 30 states and already has an operation in Plano."Macquarie Infrastructure Corp. is thrilled to have selected Plano as the headquarters for MIC Global Services," Liam Stewart, MIC CFO, who is leading the implementation of MIC Global Services, said in an email. "MIC will leverage its successful Atlantic Aviation business in Plano, the region's strong workforce, and Plano's central location as we deliver the best possible services to our customers while improving competitiveness and efficiency."The City of Plano agreed to provide up to $109,000 in economic grants for the new operation.MIC Global Services is a unit of Macquarie Group which was founded in Sydney, Australia in 1969 and now has operations across the globe.The parent company has more than $365 billion assets under management and profits of more than $1.2 billion a year.
