A week after surrendering a fumble against the Philadelphia Eagles, Cole Beasley found redemption with a two-touchdown performance against the Chicago Bears, the first such performance of his career.
Beasley finished with just three catches, but the only catch that didn’t result in a touchdown almost did. He was stopped at the one-yard line on a third and goal in the second quarter, but Dallas punched it in on the next play on a run from DeMarco Murray for their first touchdown of the night.
Which is to say, Beasley did a nice job of making the most of his opportunities on Thursday night.
“That’s a big deal,” Beasley said, per Rainer Sabin of the Dallas Morning News. “It’s always good when you come in and you get opportunities and you take full advantage of them, especially when you don’t get that many.”
