Latin fever continued into the new millennium when Shakira crossed over to the American mainstream with Whenever, Wherever. And, yes, you will now have that stuck in your head. But at least Who Let the Dogs Out? is gone, right?

WAKA WAKA WOMAN: She's a "SheWolf" with a "Waka Waka" attitude known for having hips that don’t lie and moves that make you want to take up belly dancing. Shakira is one Latina taking over the world one hip shake at a time. The Colombian songstress and pop icon has an imaginative spirit and trademark moves she proudly expresses in her new video “Loca (Shakira song)” from her upcoming album “Sale El Sol.” The international sensation appeals to any nationality with fans spanning the globe. Tonight Shakira bings her carefree spirit to Dallas performing for a mass audience inside the American Airlines Center at 8 p.m.

CINDERELLE, CINDERELLE: The glass slipper. The prince. The  fairy Godmother. Ah, thank you Disney for interpreting an iconic fairy-tale cartoon and making us all wish we had talking mice help us with housework. The classic tale of Cinderella has been re-created and immortalized in almost every culture throughout the world. Now, the drama unfolds again on the stage. The classic tale of Cinderella has been recreated by Ben Stevenson with comedic adaptation that still holds true to the fairy-tale that stole our hearts. See Cinderella at the Winspear Opera House tonight at 8 p.m.

OOOOOOOOOOHHHH, SPOOKY: The first day of spook-tacular October officially begins today. If you crave an adrenaline rush or just anticipate this time of year for the chance to scream and shout from fright, why not pay a visit to Thrillvania and get this month started right. Voted one of the scariest haunted houses in the nation, Thrillvania at Thrill Park may cause you to wet your pants, but you can’t say we didn’t warn you about the high level of shock. Every Friday through Sunday leading up until Halloween, Thrillvania will cause you to shriek, run, and wonder why you just didn’t rent “Scary Movie” instead. A scary 50-acre set-up takes time to explore, featuring eight horrifying attractions, including the new Labyrinth of Terror in 3D. Make it a fright night!
