Young Sisters Give Toys to Charity in Adorable Video

Two little girls from Fort Worth are truly demonstrating the giving spirit of Christmas. The girls, ages 3 and 5, decided to donate some of their stuffed animals to children in need, and the moment was caught on camera in an adorable video.

It's not just about how cute they are. Their simple message of giving back reminds us all what this season is really about.

There are unmistakable sounds of happiness in the Johnson house, with two sisters with everything they could need.

But the girls learned a big lesson this year.

"Some kids didn't have any," said 5-year-old Cailyn Johnson.

So the girls decided this Christmas would be more about giving.

Their mom recorded a video of 3-year-old Kinley Johnson kissing each of her stuffed animals goodbye as she and her sister prepared to donate them to other children in need.

"The reason I like to share is because it makes other people happy," Cailyn said.

Seeing the video made their grandmother, Cindy Mendoza, happy, too. She shared it with NBC 5, along with the deeper meaning behind it.

"I think the important thing, for them and for us, is to know how blessed we are that our children are safe and our children are healthy and they're happy, and to make sure that they grow up realizing how special that is and how lucky they are," Mendoza said.

Message received.

The stuffed animals all went to the Alliance for Children, a Fort Worth charity that works with children who are victims of, or witnesses to, abuse.

The girls' grandmother does a lot of work with that group because she's a Tarrant County Family Court judge. Their grandfather is former Fort Worth Police Chief Ralph Mendoza.
