Dallas police are searching for an armed robber at a north Dallas apartment complex.

Police say the apartment manager was checking on a vacant unit, when a man showed up, demanded money and showed a gun at about 9 a.m. on March 6.

When the manager said she didn't have any money, the suspect struck her and took off.

The man is believed to be in his 30s and is approximately 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a blue hoodie, sagging blue jeans and dark colored gloves. He has distinctive gaps in his teeth, police say.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of this person is asked to call Detective Angela Nordyke of the Dallas Police Department's Robbery Unit at 214-671-3638 or Crime Stoppers at 214-373-TIPS.
