Man Exposes Himself to 10-Year-Old in Mesquite Neighborhood: Police

Police are searching for a man who they say exposed himself to a girl in a Mesquite neighborhood.[[409803795,C]]

It happened at about 3:15 Tuesday afternoon in the 4100 block of Blackwillow Drive.

A 10-year-old girl was walking home from school when a minivan stopped across the street from her, according to police.

The girl said a man got out of the vehicle, looked directly at her, pulled down his shorts and exposed himself.

The child ran to a friend's house and called police.

The man did not approach the girl or follow her when she ran away.

The man is described as Hispanic, 19-20 years old, 5'7" tall, with short hair and a mustache. He was wearing black and white shorts, a black hooded sweatshirt and black shoes.

The vehicle he was in is a blue or green minivan with dark tinted windows. The vehicle's paint was faded on the roof, hood and sides.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information called into Crime Stoppers that leads to the arrest and indictment for this felony offense.
