Fire Sweeps Through Van Zandt Co. Day Care

A fire swept through a Van Zandt County day care center on Sunday.

 
The Van Zandt County Fire Marshal and local fire departments responded to a fire at the Little Vandal Day Care Center on FM Road 314.
 
The fire started in a resource room in the center of the day care center. 
 
Firefighters put out the flames, but the day care center suffered extensive fire, smoke and heat damage.
 
The Little Vandal Day Care Center will be closed until further notice.
 
Investigators have not determined an official cause of the fire, but say the fire appears to be accidental.
