Police said three alleged thieves were shot during a robbery at a house in Dallas.[[330738671,C]]
According to police, a man was inside his residence in the 6900 block of Rolling Creek Lane Monday at about 11:30 a.m. when three individuals entered, assaulted him and began to steal his property while a fourth person waited outside.
While the individuals were loading their car with the stolen items, the victim grabbed a gun and fired several shots, striking three of them.
The four individuals then fled the home in a car before stopping at the intersection of West Camp Wisdom Road and Cedar Ridge Drive.
The three people who were shot were transported to the hospital. The fourth individual fled the area before police arrived.
No further details have been released.
