Dallas Morning News, NBC 5, T39, Al Dia Host Financial Planning Hotline This Thursday

On Oct. 5, NBC 5 and Telemundo 39 will partner with The Dallas Morning News, Al Dia and the Financial Planning Association of Dallas/Fort Worth to hold a financial planning hotline where certified financial planners will answer your questions by telephone and on Facebook Live.

Are you wondering if you can afford to retire? What's the best way to pay off debt? Should I sell stock before the market goes down? Should I cash out of the stock market because of growing tension with North Korea (or whatever the global hot-button country of the day is)? How much house can I afford to buy? Should I buy a rental property since real estate prices are high?

If you have those questions, or questions like them, call our free phone bank on Thursday to get some free advice about how to manage your financial future.

Our phone bank will be staffed with two dozen volunteers, including three bilingual planners, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. English-speaking callers should call 817-654-6303; 817-654-6365. Para Español pueden llamar al 817-654-6365.

Certified financial planners will also answer your questions on Facebook Live and during the 4, 5 and 6 p.m. newscasts on NBC 5 and Telemundo 39. Click here to take part on NBCDFW's Facebook page.
