Marshawn Lynch #24 of the Seattle Seahawks prepares for Super Bowl XLIX between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots at University of Phoenix Stadium on February 1, 2015 in Glendale, Arizona.

Marshawn Lynch only spoke to the media at the Super Bowl last year so, famously, he wouldn't get fined. And he was sure to let the media know that, as his "I'm just here so I won't get fined" was his canned response to every question he got.

Annoying? Maybe. Ridiculous? Probably. But it was Lynch, and he stuck to his guns, and he isn't the type that sought attention when he was doing well and shut down when things were bad. It's just who he is.

So on Sunday night when Lynch decided to announce his retirement to the world, he chose the most #BeastMode way ever to do it, with one beastly tweet.

No words. Just a "peace out" emoji and a picture of his Seahawk green cleats hanging over a wire.

It was subtle, and it was pretty awesome.

Now we can officially put to rest any talk of Lynch coming to Dallas and we can just appreciate the greatness that was #BeastMode by reliving #BeastQuake by fast-forwarding to the 1:40 mark in this video and being in awe.
