Thunderstorms Move Into the Metroplex

Showers and thunderstorms are sweeping across the Metroplex, bringing lots of rain to the area.

NBCDFW Chief Meteorologist David Finfrock said in his updated weather forecast that:

Some lingering rain will continue overnight and through Wednesday morning. Skies should begin to clear by Wednesday afternoon or evening. But chilly temperatures will remain for several days, with frost likely by Friday and Saturday mornings.

Some flights were delayed out of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport because of weather conditions, according to the FAA's automated information systems.
