A suspected burglar in Midland is under arrest and jailed on $75,000 bond after police found him hiding in a dumpster.
Buddy Ray McCabe was discovered in the garbage bin about a block west of a home where someone broke in by throwing a brick through the back door.
Records examined by the Midland Reporter-Telegram show the 39-year-old McCabe had a checkbook, gold watch, rings, a coin collection and stamps reported missing Thursday by the home owner.
McCabe already had an arrest warrant for another burglary and for a parole violation. Conviction on the latest burglary could get him up to 32 years in prison.
