One person has died following a multi-vehicle crash in Denton Wednesday night, police say.
The crash was reported Wednesday evening along South Loop 288 and Shady Oaks Drive, Denton police wrote on social media.
The incident led to the closure of all lanes of Loop 288 in the area for several hours. One southbound lane was reopened by 10:40 p.m., police said.

Police confirmed one person died in the crash. Their name has not been released.
No further details on the crash were immediately available Thursday morning.
Police asked drivers to avoid the area as officers investigated.
