Unique Opportunity Coming at Rangers Ballpark

You'd be hard-pressed to find a much better sports movie than "The Sandlot," the nostalgic film released in the early 1990s about a rag-tag group of kids in the 1960s, sandlot baseball, and "the beast."

Now, you can have a unique opportunity to watch the movie on the big screen at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington while camping out on the field and spending the night in the home of the Texas Rangers on May 11 while the Rangers are in Houston taking on the Astros.

Oh, and you can watch the Rangers-Astros game too, before the screening of the film starts.

But it gets better. The film's director, David Mickey Evans, and two of its stars, Chauncey Leopardi (Michael ‘Squint’ Palledorous) and Patrick Renna (Hamilton ‘Ham’ Porter) will also be on hand to meet and greet with moviegoers and baseball fans.
