Power Rankings: NFC East

In a weekly post, we'll talk about where teams in the NFC East sit after each weekend of play.

1. New York Giants (5-5) — The Giants were on bye, giving a week to guys like Odell Beckham to recover from nagging injuries and hopefully getting them recharged for the stretch run. This team is still in the driver's seat, but they have a really tough remaining schedule. Next up: Sunday, noon, at Washington Redskins.

2. Dallas Cowboys (3-7) — The worst record in the East? Check. But, they also have their quarterback back, and when he's playing, the Cowboys are 3-0 this year. This week is a big test against a 10-0 Panthers team, but after that, they could make a run. Next up: Thursday, 3:30 p.m., vs. Carolina Panthers.

3. Washington Redskins (4-6) — It just seems like the two bottom teams in my rankings are kind of cooked. The Redskins are just a boring football team, but they have managed to win more games, to date, than the Cowboys, so... Next up: Sunday, noon, vs. New York Giants.

4. Philadelphia Eagles (4-6) — The chaos has begun in Philly, as the Eagles have dropped two straight and now there is reportedly a big riff between Chip Kelly and the Eagles' front office. Sam Bradford is out, and who knows? That could actually make them better. We'll soon find out. Next up: Thursday, 11:30 a.m., at Detroit Lions.
