NFC East Watch: So Much For 6-10 Title

All week leading up to the Cowboys-Packers game on Sunday, we heard how the Cowboys could lose the game and still be in pretty decent shape to somehow win the NFC East with a 6-10 record. It made all kinds of sense.

The scenario hinged on all the other NFC East teams — at least the Redskins and Eagles — losing on Sunday, as well, and both were underdogs in their respective games.

Welp, so much for that.

The Bears were 4-point home favorites over the Redskins, and the Redskins won 24-21. The Eagles were 1-point favorites over the Bills in Philly, despite being underdogs earlier in the week, and held off a rally to win 23-20.

The Giants are 1-point favorites on the road at Miami on Monday night, and if they win, it would mean the Cowboys would lose a game on everyone in the division in a week when not many people could've expected that.

That would mean they'd be two games back of all three teams in the East with three games left to play. Sayonara, season.
