It is Week 3 of the college football season and these are my picks for 20 football games that I make every week for The Dallas Morning News.
Last week, straight up, I was 13-7 (.650) for the season I am 29-11 (.725).
Against the spread I'm not starting off real strong. Week 2 wore me out. I was rolled out a losing mark of 8-12 (.400) and for the season I'm stinking up the joint at 14-26 (.350). Dead last of all the folks picking games.
This week is a bounce back week for me. I feel it.
While this weekend's games may not have the marquee matchups that last weekend boasted, there are still some intriguing contests involving local schools. TCU will travel to West Lafayette to take on Purdue. Texas Tech will travel to Arizona to take on former Houston and Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin, who is coaching the Wildcats. And Oklahoma will venture out to Los Angeles to take on Chip Kelly and his 0-2 UCLA Bruins.
