Mavericks Guard Wesley Matthews Will Compete in NBA All-Star Three-Point Contest

The Dallas Mavericks will be represented at NBA All-Star weekend.

The league announced that Mavs guard Wesley Matthews will compete in the 2017 JBL Three-Point Contest at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Saturday, Feb. 18.

Matthews is one of eight players in the contest that will include defending champion Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors.

This is Matthews' second time participating in the event. He finished fourth in 2015 when he was a member of the Portland Trail Blazers.
