Forgive us for the short notice, if youβre into this kind of thing, but Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne will host a free football camp for children on Saturday in South Dallas.
Hosted at William Blair Park on Municipal Street, camp sign-in is at 9 AM. The camp runs from 10 AM to 3 PM. Claiborne runs a camp not unlike this one in his hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana, and wanted to take the project to Dallas when he was drafted by the Cowboys sixth overall last year.
βThe camp is a great opportunity to give back to the community,β Claiborne said, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. βI want to make sure that kids can come out and learn and have fun and enjoy themselves.β
Joining Claiborne will be a few Cowboys teammates, as well as some of his old pals from LSU.
The camp is open to boys (and, I guess, young men) aged 8-17, and it's free.
