Mavs Finals Tickets Go On Sale Saturday

It's been a heckuva post season for the Mavs and the MFFL's are being rewarded with Dallas' first trip back to the NBA Finals since the meltdown of 2006.

The Mavericks, whom everyone likely knows by now, ended Portland's postseason dreams of champagne and chocolates with a 4-2 series win in the first round followed that up by sweeping the defending champs in a 4-0 rout in the best of seven series. Then, they rallied over and over again to defeate a very scrappy, and young, Oklahoma City Thunder team 4-1.

Now, the Mavs will face the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals.  Sound familiar?  It should. It's the same team the Mavericks faced in 2006 when they were darn near off to a 3-0 start.

I think we probably also all remember how that played out.

Anyhow, those wanting tickets for Games 3, 4 and 5 can buy them online or by telephone (214-747-MAVS) or at the American Airlines Center box office Saturday morning beginning at 10 a.m. (A lottery will be in place.  Fans can begin lining up at 8:30 a.m. and camping out is not allowed.

Fans will be limited to four tickets total, not per game.  Phone and Internet orders will be restricted to cards that bill to zip codes in the North Texas area.

Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com at noon.

If you are unable to get tickets to the game you want, you could always try to get in for free.
