May 1, 2007: Mavs fans gather outside the AAC before Game 5 of the 2007 NBA Playoffs against the Golden State Warriors.

If you find yourself without a ticket to Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, there is a way to get FREE tickets to tonight's game at the American Airlines Center.

All you have to do is paint your face and/or body in Mavs fashion, show up on the AT&T Plaza before the game and you could get into the game for FREE in the Sprite Slam Dunk Zone. (We suspect going all out will improve your chances.) CLICK HERE to check out our gallery of Mavs Fans: Rowdy, Loud & Proud from past Painted Fans Contests outside the AAC.

For those who have a ticket to the AAC the Mavs are calling for a Royal Blue Out, in other words wear your royal blue Mavs gear when you watch them take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. 21,000 Mavs royal blue T-shirts will be on seats at the AAC for fans to wear.

And that's not all, 5,000 team posters and 10,000 Thundersticks (unfortunate name for this noisemaker ... maybe we should call them ManiaSticks or something?) will be given out. We're supposed to tell you here that the posters are courtesy of Century 21 Mike Bowman, Inc. and the sticks are from Dave & Busters, though we're sure it's printed on there somewhere.

So you're not going to the game, but you want to get in on Mavs Mania? There are some free (and free with purchase) ways to show your support for the home team:

    • Go to one of the 24 On the Border locations in the DFW area and get your FREE Dallas Mavericks yard sign.
    • Go to any DFW Kroger, buy four Dr Pepper half liter six packs and get a FREE "The Time is Now" t-shirt.
    • Go to any DFW Academy Sports and Outdoors, buy $50 worth of Mavs merchandise and get a FREE Mavs Blue yard sign. Academy is also giving away spirit cards without a purchase.

On Twitter, use #MavsMania to tell us how you'll show your spirit and support for the Dallas Mavericks. Email your fan photos to isee@nbcdfw.com, you might see the photos on-air and online.
