Back in May, before the Maverick's epic NBA Championship win, Hillwood Investment Properties, run by Ross Perot Jr. filed suit against owner Mark Cuban alleging the club was verging on insolvency.
On Nov. 3, presiding Judge Craig Smith did the obvious and dismissed the lawsuit, stating "all claims asserted by the Plaintiff are DENIED, and that all costs of court be taxed against Plantiff."
Cuban's attorney Tom Melsheimer, who helped file a hilarious legal brief supporting his client's position, had a great line for the decision, telling Unfair Park, "The Mavs are winning even during the lockout!"
