In the first night of a three game series against the Arizona Sundogs on the road, the Brahmas lost 3-2.
The two teams were well matched, both scoring a pair of goals in the second period to even the game 2-2. Texas' goals came from Greg McConnell, his fourth of the year, and Eric Lundberg, his first. Forward Grant Jacobsen assisted on both to hit 100 and 101 assists in his professional career.
Sundog's goaltender Joel Gistedt faced only four shots in the final period and AJ MacLean converted on an Arizona powerplay to defeat the Brahmas. Texas goalie Brett Jaeger stopped 26 of 29 shots but fell to 9-4-3.
This Friday the Brahmas will battle against the Sundogs once again for an 8:05 PM (CST) start. Fans can watch the action on CHL Network.
