Wylie police officers shot an armed man at a home Wednesday night.
Police said officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at a home in the 1000 block of Rockton Drive at 9:38 p.m.
When the officers went into the home, they found the man armed with a gun. Police said officers then fired at him, striking him at least once.
The man was transported to a hospital for treatment. The man is listed in stable condition, police said.
The Texas Rangers are investigating the shooting.
