A plane at Dallas Love Field is on the ground after making a smoky landing Saturday afternoon.
Dallas Fire Rescue said they were called out to Dallas Love Field Airport at about 4 p.m. because smoke was reported in the cabin of Southwest Airlines flight 2970.
Officials said that the plane made it safely to the ground and Dallas Fire Rescue have cleared the scene. No one was injured.
Fire Rescue said that the Captain in command asked for emergency vehicles in Dallas as a precaution after they smelled smoke.
Southwest flight 2970 was headed to Dallas from Amarillo.
At this time it is not known why the plane was smoking.
