Tarrant County Sheriff's officials said a deputy shot a man suspected of murder in Fort Worth early Thursday morning. [[398833401,C]]
Deputies were serving a warrant to Tony Vincent Novello at the El Ranchito apartments in 3000 block of Las Vegas Trail just after midnight.
Authorities said there was a confrontation that led to one of the deputies shooting Novello in the arm.
Novello was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
Sheriff's officials had released a bulletin Wednesday asking for the public's help finding Novello, whom they considered to be "armed and extremely dangerous." They said he was suspected in a killing at a trailer park.
