Frazier was an all-state safety and running back as a Michigan high schooler, who also lettered in basketball and track. He played in 51 games during four years with the Chippewas, notching 269 tackles, 5 TFL, 16 passes defended and 5 INTs. He was voted second-team all-conference as a senior.

Due to a stress fracture in his foot, Frazier did not perform at the combine. At his pro day, though, he showed off the athleticism that earned him a pSPARQ of 124.3 (76.3 percentile). The Cowboys then used their second sixth round pick (212th overall) on him.

Strengths

• Athleticism - NFL-level athlete
• Frame - Sturdy, well built
• Run Defense - Gets downhill quickly
• Physical - Big hitter, aggressive tackler
• Feisty - Brings attitude to secondary
• Versatility - Can play either S position and special teams

Weaknesses

• Length - Lacks ideal height, arm length
• Pursuit - Takes questionable angles
• Overly Aggressive - Can give up big plays
• Instincts - Fooled on play action

Verdict: Good Value

Frazier has the frame and the athleticism of an NFL safety. He spent time as a single-high and box safety in college and also looks like he could man the slot against bigger offensive packages.

Frazier looks like a fourth rounder on tape, so he was a good pick in the sixth round by a Cowboys team that needs an injection of youth in the secondary. With his special teams ability, he'll be able to contribute right away while the team helps him find his role in the Dallas defensive backfield.
