Police Searching For Missing Trophy Club Resident

Police in the town of Trophy Club are currently trying to find a 72-year-old resident who was last seen on Thursday morning.

Donn Renwick, of the 300 block of Village Trail, was last seen wearing a gray or light blue windbreaker with blue jeans and tennis shoes.

Renwick is described as a white male, 6'1" tall and weighing 185 pounds.

According to Renwick's son, Dusty, the man left behind his vehicle, keys and phone. He said his father does not have an history of dementia or issues with Alzheimer's disease.

The Trophy Club Police Department was notified about the missing man at about 4 p.m. on Thursday.

Lt. Tracey Shields said police do not believe foul play is a factor.

"There's nothing disturbed in the home, [and] based on his family interviews he has no enemies. He's well-known in our community," Shields said.

Officers coordinated a large search on Friday that included more than 14 different local government agencies. However, the search did not yield any positive findings or viable leads.

"We are contacting friends, family and his prior employers," Shields said. "We have obtained the electronics from his home, which we have sent off to the Secret Service for analysis to see if that give us any leads as to where he might have gone."

"We've checked airports, hotels, cabs, buses [and] those sorts of things," she added.

The neighborhood surrounding Renwick's home is dotted with flyers that include Renwick's image and details, along with yellow ribbons for the missing man.

"It's obvious that they are desperate to find him, and that's what is so sad," said neighbor Katrina Koger. "I just can't imagine how I would feel."

The Trophy Club Police Department asks that if you see anyone who may fit the description of Mr. Renwick to call 911.
