One person was rescued Wednesday after being trapped in an elevator at a Dallas high rise, officials say.
The person became trapped near the 31st floor in an elevator at a high rise at 1515 Elm Street, Dallas Fire Rescue Spokesman Jason Evans said.
The call was originally reported as a collapse of some kind. Officials with Dallas Fire-Rescue said that was the result of fallen ceiling tiles weakened by an apparent water leak.
No injuries were reported.
