A male under 18 years old was shot and killed at a Haltom City apartment complex Sunday, police say.
The shooting happened just after 2 p.m. at the Rio Vista Apartments in the 6300 block of Baker Boulevard, Haltom City police said.
Officers from Richland Hills and Haltom City responded to a call for shots fired and found a juvenile male with gunshot wounds in the parking lot, police said.
The victim was trasnported to North Hills Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Because the victim was under 18 years old, police said they would not release further information about him.
Police said detectives were investigating the shooting.
