More than 80 people in Allen Sunday afternoon prayed for victims of Wednesday's attack in San Bernardino, California.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with out innocent brothers and sisters, who unfortunately, became the victims of misguided insanity of perverted individuals,” said Suhail Kausar, president of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Dallas Chapter.
The service was held at Baitul Ikram Mosque in Allen and was sponsored by AhmaDiyya Community Dallas.
“We the members of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community condemn and denounce this heinous crime and barbarous against humanity in the strongest terms,” said Kausar.
Others who spoke also condemned the attack and terrorism, saying they are not the teachings of Islam.
“Isis is not Muslim,” one man said, “not Islam, not part of humanity.”
A church leader from Canyon Creek Presbyterian in Richardson attended to lend his personal support to the Muslim Community.

“I was called to be here,” said Chris Ebling, “an act of violence against one is an act of violence against all of us.”
“We are taught that any form of terrorism is not allowed in Islam,” said Saima Sheikh, who also attended the service.
“I can’t even imagine a woman doing this thing, especially leaving her child behind,” said Sheikh, “and I’m a mother, and I have a teenage son, and I can’t even fathom that.”
The Texas and U.S. flags both flew at half-staff outside the mosque. Security guards stood watch at the gated entrance, but never saw any trouble.
