Three men are on the run after trying to rob a gun store and robbing a man in Garland Tuesday morning, police say. [[376187831,C]]
Garland police said three men backed an SUV up to B&S Guns on the 6300 block of Broadway Boulevard and tried to burglarize it just before 5 a.m.
The men, one of whom was armed, were startled by security and ran to a nearby business, where police said they robbed a man who was delivering water.
They were going to steal the man's vehicle when something startled them and they ran to a nearby neighborhood.
Police said all three men remain on the loose. A description of the men has not been provided.
Police impounded the SUV at the scene.
