Police said Wednesday night Lt. Mike Harris spotted a 2006 Range Rover with a license plate that didn't match near West 16th and Milam streets in Texarkana. Harris confirmed the vehicle was stolen during a robbery in Dalworthington Gardens, a suburb inside the Arlington city limits.
He then found a Lexus parked behind the Ranger Rover that had been reported stolen out of McKinney.
Detectives called to the scene eventually discovered the five suspects in a nearby apartment and developed probable cause to connect them to the vehicles, police said.
