A Dallas police officer wanted on an aggravated assault warrant turned himself in to Dallas County on Friday.
Dallas police issued a warrant for Officer Rashad Davis' arrest on an aggravated assault charge.
Davis was arrested Dec. 6 on suspicion of assault. His girlfriend told police Davis pushed her during a fight at their apartment.

He was placed on administrative leave during the investigation.
On Tuesday, Davis' girlfriend called police about another fight. Officers said she sustained visible injuries. She also told police that Davis had pointed his service weapon to head in mid-November.
Dallas police this week issued warrants for Davis' arrest.
Davis has been with the department since 2007. He was honored for bravery for a 2009 incident in which he fired at an armed person. He was also nominated for Officer of the Month in 2010 at the South Central Patrol Division, where he was assigned.
