The Dallas Zoo has announced the name of the new giraffe calf.
According to the zoo, the baby giraffe has been named Tana.
The zoo said the name is a tribute to the Tana River, the longest in Kenya.
Half of the world's remaining wild reticulated giraffes call Kenya home, the Dallas Zoo said.
Tana's mother, Betty, gave birth to her just over 12 days ago.
